Contemplation

It’s another gloomy morning here in LA making it tough to accept that its summer. The humidity which is rare here is keeping things hot and sticky and certainly not ideal conditions to be wearing suede so I am happy to report that this top is faux suede and animal friendly to boot! Wearing 60’s inspired fringe gives me a little license to segue to my self professed “deep interest” in the Manson Family and the crimes they committed that I mentioned in my last post: Vincent Bugliosi, who was The LA prosecutor at the time of the infamous Manson murders, passed away yesterday. Under extremely difficult circumstances, he successfully prosecuted the family members involved including Charles Manson himself and saw to it they all stayed in prison for life. After reading Helter Skelter which Mr. Bugliosi wrote, he became my hero. I subsequently read all of his books (save the one about OJ) that told the stories of unbelievable cases he either defended or prosecuted. If you have any interest in True Crime, like I clearly do, I highly recommend reading anything by legal genius Vincent Bugliosi, may he rest in peace!
