Western wear is one of those style trends that always makes its way back every few years and cowboy boots are usually the main focus of this chic trend. I have a pretty vast collection of said boots from over the years and I know better than to ever get rid of them. They really are very comfortable and look super stylish as long as you don’t overdo the plaid, denim or cowboy hat thing. I posted this ruffled skirt in this Instagram pic a few weeks ago and got several inquiries about it so I decided it was worthy of a full blog post. I feel the ruffles and gingham hint toward western style but these pieces definitely aren’t cowboy overkill.
I spent a wonderful weekend down in Carlsbad with the Influential Summit. I met so many cool fellow mamas and learned so much more about social media, I highly recommend checking it out next year if you are a blogging mom boss!
My trip to Carlsbad wrapped up a series of three trips in just as many weeks so I am pooped out! I love to travel but its nice to be home to recover for a bit. One thing I learned on my second trip which was to Cabo was that flying out of LAX adds so much extra stress to traveling. Spending the night at The Hyatt Regency LAX made a massive difference in diffusing the stress of getting to the airport in time for an early flight. The Hyatt is the closest hotel to the airport and they have an amazing restaurant, fabulous views of the runway (which keeps kids occupied for hours) and you can park your car at the hotel they provide hassle free shuttles to the airport. Just a little tip for your next vacay!
Happy Monday friends, big week ahead…lets do this! xo ~Zia
