I wore this crochet skirt to the desert last week in a way not too different from this (see my IG) but with a knit top in a matching color and a faux leather blazer it’s a much more sophisticated and city appropriate look. I really lucked out that this top matches the skirt so perfectly, it was mistaken as a one piece dress several times. I love a nearly all white look any time of year but spring feels like the absolute best time to welcome the warm weather with what some consider a summer only color scheme. I added some gold and tan accessories to break it up just a tiny bit, I didn’t want it to look costumey.
Today is my son’s 16th birthday which is very hard to wrap my head around – I think my bio still says he’s 10 ha ha, time to update that ASAP. It definitely makes me feel old and I find myself struggling to remember what he was like as a baby, toddler or even ten year old little boy, but such is the circle of life and I have to accept that my boy is growing up.
Hope your week is going fabulously thanks for dropping in! xoxo ~Zia
