Denim on denim is a huge trend this spring and for the love of all of my people to the north do not call it a Canadian Tuxedo! To be completely honest I had never heard that term until I moved to the US, we certainly do not call it that where I come from. I’m pretty certain it’s meant to be derogatory which to me is ironic since double denim is so loved in the fashion world, but that’s a conversation for another time. My jean jacket and jeans are very similar in tone and wash and could very well be considered a suit, or tuxedo if you must, but they are not even from the same brand. I’ve had this jean jacket for a couple of years but the jeans, in a very comfortable baggy cut, are new (and incredibly well priced, linked below) This look is fairly casual I would say but just in case my plans change I wore it with a sexy deep plunging bodysuit (also seen here) Ive actually been wearing this piece a lot lately it works with so many bottoms, Im considering getting it in another color!
Thank you so much for spending a bit of your Monday with me – hope your week is off to a stylish start!
