Who would ever think that Santa Claus would be a fashion muse? Certainly not me but when I put this red houndstooth blazer over these (found in my closet) wide leg pants I definitely got Santa vibes and I wasn’t mad about it. I continued with the festive hue and added a wide red belt, red quilted bag and of course sunnies, I did however choose to skip the hat ha ha! Red is a color that fortunately can be worn year round but around the holidays it has a different feel and it’s clearly all about Santa! This blazer is fairly light weight and very stretchy (my favorite) and I think that it will pair well with some white shorts and lot of gold accessories come summertime.
I am in disbelief that tomorrow is December already. My schedule is booking up so fast Im starting to feel overwhelmed by everything I need to do before leaving on our vacation in three weeks. I guess I’ll just take it one day at a time which reminds me of a song by the White Stripes called Little Acorns, “be like the squirrel girl”
