I was just introduced to clothing line Adelyn Rae and I can’t believe I didn’t know about them sooner (the line is carried at Nordstrom) the pieces are all so flirty and feminine and perfect for summer. This floral ruffle top immediately caught my eye because I knew it would look really dressy with a midi skirt and super cute with some jeans and heels for a casual date night. The dresses are particularly gorgeous and if your going on a tropical holiday or summer wedding you must check them out, the fabrics and patterns are all so beautiful you’ll have a hard time choosing!

I missed posting this floral ruffle top look yesterday due to my travel schedule to Canada, I assumed I would have some time take care of some business at the airport but even with being there two hours early it didn’t happen, but better late then never!  The weather here is much different than it is back in LA and I’m really quite grateful for a break from the 95 degree heat at least for a few days.  It’s overcast here in my hometown of Calgary today but the temps will be rising to the mid 80s over the next few days. Its a long weekend here in Canada ( we have one almost every month here) so I’m going take Monday off like the locals and be back Tuesday!
