Floral Sheer Sleeve Top, Knee High Boots:

I have been conspicuously MIA this last week or so and I put full blame on Italy! If you don’t follow along on Instagram then you may not know that I had the incredible luck of being chosen to attend international jewelry fair VincenzaOro in Vicenza, Italy. It all happened very quickly and my schedule was packed while abroad so posting was impossible, I promise to make up for it this week with extra posts including a recap of my trip! This floral sheer sleeve top is one of my favorite new pieces from CeCe by Cynthia Steffe’s fall line. I adore it so much it made the cut and traveled to Italy with me where it received all the compliments it deserves. I wore it to a red carpet event with a red midi skirt perhaps a little undressed for the red carpet (I didn’t know it would be so fancy) but I made it work! We’re still dealing with typical very warm weather here in LA so the shorts with high boots is my attempt to bridge the gap between summer and fall.

I hope everyone had a great weekend! I finally caught up on lost sleep due to my travels and I attended  an event in downtown LA that tested my fears! There is a plexiglass slide that drops from the exterior of a 70 story building down to the 69th floor. I stood in line with every intention of conquering my fear not so much of heights but of see-through bottoms. When in London last summer we visited the London Bridge which also has a glass floor not very high up and I could not bring myself to walk across it! I can easily Zipline, go up mountains on gondolas and ride helicopters but glass floors give me major anxiety! So I ended up backing out, Im not proud of it but it gave me a panic attack not worth dealing with especially while at a party. So now you know something new (and a little embarassing) about me!
