When I go to my mailbox to grab my daily delivery, it’s always so refreshing to see something in the stack other than bills and junk mail. I get so excited when I see a card-shaped envelope with my name handwritten on the front. The suspense of seeing who it’s from and tearing it open to see the message inside… isn’t it so much more meaningful to receive a beautiful card with a short little note than a text or email? I have always loved Papyrus cards for this very reason; the design is always unique, distinctive and beautiful, and the note inside is perfectly written without being sappy or cliche (so important to me).

Sending that special someone a card with a heartfelt message can make such a huge difference in someone’s day. Dropping someone a note to remind them they are loved, wish them a happy birthday or just to say thank you says so much about your relationship with this person as well as the thoughtful kind of person you are.

 

We live in the digital age where writing anything by hand can seem old fashioned, but it’s old fashioned in a really good way. I know when my dad get this fabulous tropical-themed Father’s Day card and my mom gets her fun, bright birthday card (they are usually on the same day) with a sweet little message from me and their grandson, they will be thrilled!

I keep a box of Papyrus cards on hand for those just-in-case situations but I know that for special occasions, I can pick up the perfect card at my local Pavilions. Summer always seems to be the season for cards with weddings, baby showers, endless birthdays, and of course, Fathers Day. Papyrus will have the perfect card to celebrate any occasion!
