Print mixing seems to run in the family, my 11 year old does it all the time however he hasn’t quite mastered the art of it yet. Keeping colors in the same tone within prints is the trick to making it work. The grey plaid skirt and snakeskin print boots match perfectly because the colors are more or less the same. I connected the black from the top to the skirt with a black belt and voila three prints in one outfit. I love adding a bit of color to (most of) my outfits and this little yellow wrist bag was the perfect addition to this look. It actually matches the yellow band on the skirt perfectly although it may not look like it in the photos.
My weekend was a whirlwind of attending art and travel fairs two things that I absolutely love so I’m hoping for more of both in my life this coming year. If you are in a city that hosts the Frieze Art Fair I highly recommend checking it out even if its just for the people watching, its an incredible visual experience of both art and humans.
I am very much looking forward to my week ahead as it doesn’t have a million meetings, events etc on the schedule so I will be focusing more on creating fabulous content for you! So glad you came to visit today, Happy Monday! xo ~Zia
