Halloween Style: Disco Goddess Vs Wicked Witch.

We take Halloween pretty seriously around here. My husband loves the crazy clowns, ghouls and ghosts and I love the pumpkins, throwing parties and of course the dressing up part.

Im a big fan of painted pumpkins vs carving them. They last longer when painted and you can get so creative with the colors and patterns. Black and white is our color scheme and it goes perfectly with orange. Check out some of my how to videos on my TikTok channel here & here

Theres a fine line between the fun & flirty costumes vs the overly sexy Halloween costumes out there. These outfits from 3 Wishes I think are perfect, sexy yes but not inappropriate to hand out candy to the neighborhood children. Their costumes are very reasonably priced and come with most of the accoutrements to complete the look.

My husband takes Halloween decorating to a whole other level. We get crowds of people in front of our house every night and on trick or treat night theres a line up down the block in each direction to get to our house. This handsome fella is one of the newest members of our brood. He is animatronic and his movements are so fluid and smooth its almost human-like.

Ive always had a fascination with witches. My childhood best friend and I always pretended we were sorceresses and had her little sisters convinced we were both from the coven. I love this fashion forward witch look, the tulle skirt & faux leather dress with the pentagram neckline are so fabulous. The tights did not come with the kit nor did the wig but the sleeves and hat did pulling the whole look together, you know how I love accessories!

I think I missed my era, I would have loved to live out my youth in during the Disco days. Wearing jumpsuits and platforms and dancing all day sounds like an absolute dream.

I still cant decide which costume Im actually going to wear on Halloween night. I typically gravitate towards creepy, scary, classic Halloween as opposed to just wearing something thats trending ie Tiger King or Squid Game characters but I cant resist living out my Disco Goddess fantasy!
