Holiday Style: Metallic Midi Skirt, Halter Top.

Some people gravitate toward sequins and sparkle, some like metallics for the holidays. I don’t discriminate but Im definitely into the look of metallics this Christmas season. I remember my mom rocking a lot of shimmery textures and fabrics in the nineteen eighties and Im all about 80s fashion right now. This metallic midi skirt almost looks like liquid bronze when its moving and as perfect as it is for the holidays I think it could transition into other seasons as well. I wanted to put together a holiday party look together but love the idea of these pieces styled differently like this halter top and blazer would look amazing with some denim and knee high boots and the skirt with combat boots and a chunky sweater for a more casual occasion.

I don’t have a lot of events left to dress up for this holiday season with the exception of New Years and my upcoming cruise, which of course will be a very different vibe, but I do have lots of great looks coming up here on the blog before its all over.
