Houndstooth Suit, Chunky Ankle Boots.

I’m definitely on a matching set/suit kick lately and this houndstooth ensemble is definitely one of my new favorites. Perhaps it’s the classic quality of wearing a little lady-like suit or the simplicity of putting an outfit together when it’s already a match maybe it’s both but whichever it is I’m a major fan. It wouldn’t be right if I didn’t also mention the fact that each piece can be worn separately for a totally different look. I love the idea of wearing this skirt with a band tee and leather jacket, perhaps some over the knee boots for a night out with the girls and this jacket can make just about any outfit look cuter even if it’s just a pair of jeans and a henley when going for a grocery run.

I think it pretty obvious how much I love a good accessory whether its a pair of statement earrings or a chunky necklace, which has been my go to most of this year. Can you believe we are only three weeks away from Christmas? It’s really unbelievable how quickly the past few months have gone. I know a lot of people are going all out with holiday decor this year and Im just not feeling it. I have very little desire to decorate the house this year. Maybe its because we won’t be home for Christmas this year (unless the block travel again) but I think it because for me the holidays are all about gathering with friends and family which won’t be happening so Im not seeing the point of decorating.
