This coming month is as socially consuming for us as is the Christmas season. Valentines Day and my birthday are both in February and with my husband and I involved the entertainment biz there are several events we have to attend surrounding awards season. I am not compelled to buy a new cocktail dress for every event I turn up at so I opt to mix and match pieces I already own with a new separate like this sequined skirt I picked up at Piperlime’s major sale recently. I’m particularly excited (and proud) that my husband’s team has been nominated for an Art Director’s Guild Award! The ceremony tomorrow night is a black tie affair and aside from seeing my husband in a tux for the first time ever there are some pretty exciting guests rumored to be presenting, follow along on Instagram I’ll see what I can get away with posting!
