I’ve been keeping my summer looks fairly simple this year – Ive been loving the clean lines of a bodysuit or crop top paired with shorts or a skirt. I love how this super sleek bodysuit looks with the oversized, masculine khaki cargo shorts, the proportions work so well. The gold chain belt and heels give its some polish but it’s still a casual vibe perfect for a lunch date or running errands – Run errands in those heels you may ask, but absolutely yes! These low heeled sandals with padded straps are just like wearing flip flops with a little height. I’ve been wearing these sandals with almost all my summer outfits, I almost bought them in white but I’m already feeling the call of fall and seeking out transitional footwear like boots I can wear with dresses or shorts.
It was our anniversary yesterday – we don’t typically make a big deal out of it but try to at least get out for a nice dinner. We (including our son) popped over to Venice beach for a delicious meal at Gjelina a Los Angeles area mainstay. I ate there years ago with a visiting influencer friend but hadn’t been back since. It’s still hard to get into but if you can get a table I highly recommend it. Happy Friday lovelies – were off to the beach for one last hurrah before the kiddo goes back to school…
