I initially thought this khaki micro skirt was actually skorts so it made it a challenge to wear knowing that a little extra exposure was bound to take place. I oped to style it with a bodysuit so there was coverage down below as well as an oversized blazer just in case. I also like the idea of wearing them with bike shorts for a 90s feel. I wanted this to be a causal look so I slid on these espadrille mules and a baseball cap. This outfit could easily be dressed up for a night out without the cap and a little strappy heel or boots.
Friday night we celebrated my son’s 17th birthday – I’m a little blown away by that number. When I started this blog he was a little six year old kid who was obsessed with frogs and his rock collection. Now he has a girlfriend and is picking colleges (insert tears here) Life really is a whirlwind and should not be wasted on sweating the small stuff: jealousy, unhappiness, negativity etc I live by the adage of “positive vibes only” If you have someone negative in your life get rid of them or if you yourself are feeling less than positive find a way to change that, life is too short! Enjoy your Monday and every single day you’re living your beautiful life! xoxo Zia
