I posted this lime green slip dress layered with a sheer high neck top on Instagram before the holidays but due to aforementioned technical issues it’s just going up now here on the blog. It has gotten a little colder around here since this was shot but I think with extra layers this outfit can still be worn in the cooler temps and the slip dress itself is going to be a great piece for beach vacations or just for running around in the summer. I love pieces that transcend seasons, the more use you get out of a piece the better it is for your bank account and more importantly the environment. I heard a really great segment on my favorite radio station KCRW about how this new decade will be bringing more of a demand from consumers for sustainable & environmentally friendly clothing. Buying clothing that has already been used or rewearing pieces you already own is a great way to do your part also keep your radar out for clothing lines that use organic textiles. Although I started my blog to reflect my philosophy of quality over quality over six years ago, I will definitely be spending more time on this topic this year!
I am so excited this first full week of 2020 is over and I can sleep in late again tomorrow Im really not a morning person!
