Orange Crush: Floral Maxi Skirt.

And just like that summer is over! Technically it is still summer and it will be warm until November here in LA but when the kids go back to school it just feels over. End of summer always has me craving fall fashion but this orange hued floral maxi may have me dressing for summer a little bit longer. I have it paired with a graphic tee in this look (my go to top this summer) but this skirt can obviously be dressed up for a wedding or dinner date, I also like the idea of wearing it with a chunky knit sweater come fall (see, I do have fall on the mind)

This fun photo shoot was shot at iconic San Fernando Valley hotel The Sportsmans Lodge, I love that the cafe decor reflects the neighborhood’s deep film industry history. My friend, blogger Stuart Brazell (visit her blog here)  also jumped in on the fun hotel shoot where we lounged by the pool, explored the garden and had a yummy lunch with matching orange sodas.

How was everyone’s weekend? I celebrated another wedding anniversary, had some amazing meals (Moroccan one night & Indian another) and finally saw Once Upon a Time In Hollywood. Such a great film about an era Im obsessed with. In case you weren’t aware Im a huge true crime buff and the Manson Family murders are some of the most fascinating to me.
