My apologies for reverting back to summer style with this post but this is another one of those looks that is certainly deserving of a full blog post but just got lost in the shuffle. If you live in one of the warmer regions I’m sure you will still appreciate some late summer style inspiration. This time of year Im always thinking about maximizing wear and purchasing items that have crossover appeal and this sunny orange dot skirt (that is currently on sale) could very easily make its way into early fall outfits. The fabric on this piece is a heavier cotton and if worn with some camel, cream or caramel tones along with some ankle booties it would make the cutest autumn outfit. Did you notice I switched up the jewelry in one of the shots? I believe that accessories can make or break an outfit and statement necklaces are definitely the big trend right now but I can still get on board with some sparkly earrings occasionally. The earrings and necklace are both from designer Lily Lough, her pieces are extremely well priced and are super cute. I’m seriously thinking about getting this necklace in another color for fall!
We’ve been stuck indoors for quite some time now. First it was the extreme heat and now its extremely bad air quality due to the horrible fires here in California, although we can’t really smell the smoke where I live there is toxic particulate matter floating in the air so indoors we stay… this year just continues to be the worst! Heads up my friends and stay safe, this too shall pass…
