Orange Puff Sleeve, Cargo Skirt.

Woah! What a start to a year we were all hoping was going to be better than the last. Don’t get me wrong I’m still optimistic, however, 2021 is definitely not off to a good start. I’m going to do a sort of positive reinforcement thing by channeling my optimism through my style. This earth tone outfit with a puff sleeve top, cargo skirt and mock croc boots has a bit of a safari vibe to it which I equate to travel and adventure, hopefully there will be way more of later this year.

I’ve had it pointed out to me recently by a few of my readers on Instagram that I must have a belt addiction and I confess, yes I do. I believe a belt can make all the difference in an outfit and it certainly adds a lot of polish. I’m a long time fan of belts from B Low the Belt, they’re a little on the pricey side but I think they’re worth the investment as they add so much spice to an outfit (see here & here)

We are out of mandatory 10 day quarantine (for traveling out of state) that was not enforced but we chose to do the right thing for our community and stayed home, ordered groceries online and binge watched every show we haven’t already watched.  It felt good to finally get out for a walk today but at the same time it’s scary to be out when the statistics show 1 in 5 people in LA county are Covid positive. Were going to continue to lay low until things get better and vaccines roll out.
