Passage

I have always felt as though the time between Halloween and my birthday (end of February) goes by so much faster than the rest of the year. It just dawned on me that the period correlates with daylight savings and less sunlight makes the days seem shorter therefore going by faster. Yeah as obsessed as I am about the longer days you’d think I would have made that discovery sooner! Well I took full advantage of that extra hour of sunlight yesterday and helped my son plant his annual tomato garden… as well as a million other things but I wont bore you with the details. Spring is near and shorter skirts and bare legs are making their way into my outfit ideas however, layers are still essential with the crisp mornings and chilly nights.
