There is something to be said about getting to take a little break from the little people in our lives. Our son went to LEGOLAND for the weekend to celebrate a friends birthday, leaving my husband and I alone to our own devices. After having the best dinner ever with our friends way on the other side of town we slept in until 10 AM had afternoon drinks and were reminded of what life was like before having a child. Although it was a nice break we missed our little man and are so happy to have him back. In addition to having a bit of freedom this weekend we also got a wee bit of rain which cooled things down and gave me the opportunity to pretend for a moment its fall. It’s soooo close I can taste it and so I will throw my faux fur over my shoulders, just in case!
