I shot this pinstripe suit outfit last week and got a video up on my Insta but I couldn’t get this post up until now because the worst possible thing that could happen to a blogger, did: my hard drive crashed! Fortunately it was a holiday week so Im sure most of you didn’t really notice Ive been away. It definitely was an expense I was not prepared for, but I popped over to the Apple Store on Black Friday and got myself a new laptop and Im now back in business. Ive always been a fan of menswear inspired looks for women and adding something a little sexy to it such as a bra-top. I know this isn’t exactly work place appropriate (for most) but adding a camisole or white shirt to the look would definitely take you into boss lady territory. You know I cant move on without mentioning that both the skirt and cropped blazer will look fabulous independent of each other. The blazer is an easy one to throw on over a band tee and jeans for a polished casual look and the skirt has endless possibilities: a chunky colorful sweater or a tank top come to mind.
I hope all my American readers out there had a great Thanksgiving, I had one of my best ever! After numerous boring holiday dinners over the years I knew exactly what wanted to do differently. With Martha Stewart’s perfectionism as my guide we had about 17 friends/family members over for a delicious sit down dinner. Along with pies and dessert cocktails after feasting we had games, holiday movies and an impromptu sing along – it was really quite perfect. Now time to think about the next holiday… Happy Monday lovelies
