Anyone else jump fast on the Zara winter sale? I went early and only bought this plaid skirt for myself but loaded up on stuff for my boy, when they grow so fast you can’t go wrong with $3 tee shirts and $20 kicks. I almost walked out without a thing for myself but I saw this skirt and it immediately reminded my of a skirt my mom had when I was a kid, in fact she had two; one in gold the other in blue if I recall correctly. I remember loving them and wishing I was old enough to wear them myself, but I guess the beauty of fashion is that it is so cyclical you will eventually have the chance to rock the latest trend if you wait around long enough.
This was not an easy morning in our household, first day back at school/work which means an early wake up (for the first time in almost 3 weeks) and its pouring rain today making it that much more difficult to get out of bed. We have stayed home the last two winter holidays and as much as I love to travel I love staying home when everything in LA i.e. the entertainment biz shuts down. The streets are empty, the freeways flow, restaurants are easy to get into…its really quite lovely. Well back to reality today, gotta get ready for some super fun travels plans coming up and the end of this month! Happy Monday lovelies, xo ~Zia
