Red Sweater, Army Green Skirt.

And just like that it was over, the best long weekend of the year (probably because its the longest) It was so wonderful to sleep in, catch up on things I’ve been ignoring, hanging with my fam and just tuning out! We also got our Christmas tree up so we are in full on holiday mode! These shades of red and green together may not feel very festive but it’s one of my favorite color combos regardless. I found this skirt at J. Crew several weeks ago and snatched it up right away, I love army green anything. I read recently that army jackets & camo print became popular fashion items during the Vietnam war out of irony worn mostly by people who were against the never ending conflict. I guess Im in the same camp very much against war although supportive of our troops and quite frankly just really into the color! I love how vibrant this red sweater is, I’ve always been a lover of red but feel sometimes it looks too Christmasy however combined with military green I don’t think anyone will mistake me for Santa’s helper!

Its going to be a tough day getting back to business, but we can do this!
