Reminiscence

Going back to your hometown after long periods of time always engenders a variety of emotions. Driving down streets that you know like the back of your hand yet seem so foreign, spending time with old friends and talking about others who’s whereabouts are unknown … Today we are gathering my very large extended family to celebrate a milestone birthday for my father (we won’t mention numbers) It’s a reminder that time is quickly passing by. Living every day to the fullest is certainly a cliché that comes to mind, and some fashionably minded individuals like myself might perceive that to mean dressing your best every day. I snatched up this simple maxi dress at the Zara sale thinking I’d use it as a beach cover up but when I threw it on for a friends party I few weeks back I realized it was worthy of more then just the beach. We’re heading back home tomorrow and I cant wait to be back with my husband, my animals and of course my closet!!! Thanks so much for stopping by and Happy Friday, xoxo Zia
