Renegade

 

I strive for imperfection. I prefer street style to flawless editorial looks (I’ve given up many magazine subscriptions due to this). There are very few people in the world who have a personal stylist making sure every last detail is perfectly aligned before leaving the house,  I certainly don’t nor would I want one. What makes fashion fun is finding unlikely combinations that you end up loving. I’m sure there is some rule out there about not wearing grey and brown together and I say that rule belongs in the same waste basket as not wearing navy and black or white after labor day! I wore this ensemble out to a belated lunch celebration with one of my best girlfriends who shares the Pisces star sign with me and received many comments/compliments on the grey/brown combo so I thought I would share it with you. What are your thoughts on taking fashion risks and looking flawlessly imperfect?

ps to the reader who commented on the fact my lipstick needing fixing in one of my posts: I don’t have a make up artist on my shoots with me and as long as one eats and drinks and kisses those they love, lipstick is never perfect!!!
