I’m interrupting my usual fashion post with a little home décor inspiration, another passion of mine. I’m actually a little ADD when it comes to my home, I’m always redecorating, moving and changing things and it was definitely due time to redesign our master. When we remodeled our house 2 years ago the original architecture plans included extending the master bedroom. More space in the room itself would be added as well as increasing the size of the walk-in closet and bathroom. We ended up not doing the bedroom for budgetary reasons as well as logistically it would have been too difficult to continue living in the house during the remodel. I was going out of my mind trying to figure out what to do with the room while we decided if want to live though another remodel or just move. Right before the holidays Tempaper offered some inspiration with their catalogue of amazing colors and patterns of removable wallpaper. Their catalogue runs the style gamut with floral, art-deco, mid-mod… there’s definitely something in there for everyone. We went with this grey & white bird print which has a grainy background that almost looks like fabric. Its a bold print which is very different from our minimalist approach to decor in the rest of the house, but the room is quite small and this pattern gives the room depth and the illusion that its larger. When choosing your wallpaper keep in mind these bold patterns are not easy to match up, my husband is a pro Set Designer and took over the project when things got beyond my ability. The really great thing about Tempaper is your can take it down and change it up whenever you get bored which I do so frequently. Thanks for reading I hope you enjoyed taking a peek into my home (see here for our complete remodel from two years ago) xo ~Zia
