There is no doubt that tie dye is a huge trend this season. The trend peeked it’s head out last summer but it didn’t really hit its stride until recently. I think the free spirited, DIY, casual nature of tie dye really lends itself well to the current climate of everyone embracing their inner hippie. I personally have let it ALL go; my roots are growing in, my extensions are out, my gel nails are long gone and my eyelashes are no longer dark, lush and long but instead my natural lashes are now little stubs after years of extensions. Im admittedly kind of enjoying giving it all a break, Im sure my hair, nails, skin and lashes are thrilled.
If shopping for new clothes is not currently on your agenda you can do your own tie dye project like I did with my family a few weeks ago & ff you don’t have dye you can use bleach on a darker piece of clothing, I just YouTubed a how to and we all ended up with fun hoodies/shirts that will always remind us of this time in our lives. I paired my tie dye top with these soft, swingy, wide leg jeans and they couldn’t possibly be more perfect for each other. These jeans are so comfy they can easily substitute the sweats or yoga pants you’ve been wearing every day for the last six weeks (you know I’m talking about myself)
The weather in LA has been gorgeous the last couple of weeks and we’ve been doing all kinds of redecorating, painting and other do it yourself projects. I’ve been documenting some of it and will hopefully be posting my little videos on IG &/or Tiktok (follow me @ziadomic)
Thanks for stopping by and stay well, stay home….were almost there! xoxo ~Zia
