On an typical night out with my husband, dinner and a movie, this would definitely be a go-to outfit for me: super comfy, worn in tattered jeans with heels and a sexy top…this weekend however was far from ordinary; Dressed cocktail appropriate I attended a little soiree at a beautiful private home in the Altadena Hills to raise awareness for the thousands of children in the Los Angeles area that currently don’t have a permanent home. Five Acres is an amazing non-profit organization that was established in 1888 and provides foster and adoptive services among others. As the mother of a young child I was very inspired by their mission and wanted to help spread the word in case any of my readers have considered fostering or adopting a child or even if you are interested in donating to the cause please click on the above link…I hope you all had weekends that were equally as fulfilling as mine!
