Vegan Leather Vest, Slip Skirt.

With the kids back in school my mind immediately goes to fall fashion regardless of how hot it is outside (95 for the record) I bought this vegan leather vest several months ago in anticipation of layering it over a fall outfit but I just couldn’t wait any longer and threw it on over this tube top/ slip dress outfit keeping the look warm weather appropriate – and in my defense for those of you who think a leather vest in summer is madness, it does get down into the 60’s at night here so not totally crazy!

I’m sure you’ve noticed by now I’ve been living in tube tops the last several summers (see here & here) but I’ve definitely amped up the obsession this summer. I love the 70’s disco vibe they give and of course its just an easy way to stay cool and look stylish. Tube tops or bustiers are easy to pair with skirts, shorts or denim. I wore this striped one with wide leg denim to an event yesterday for an effortless daytime look.

The summer has definitely zoomed by – I can’t believe we are almost into September. Stores aren’t wasting any time and already stocking up all the fall, pumpkin themed decor – Im going to try to enjoy the last bits of summer even though we have a major storm coming our way this weekend! Im happy we’ll get some rain but not excited about the winds! Happy Weekend lovelies – Zia xoxo
