This entire white on white outfit are pieces that I already had in my closet so none of the links below are exact matches except the platform sneakers which are fairly new. This was one of those looks that just came together organically and I loved it so much I decided to shoot it even though I wasn’t featuring anything new. “Shopping” in my own closet is definitely something Im trying to do more and more instead of always buying something new, its better for my bank account and the environment. My husband showed me a photo of a landfill in Brazil that is mostly discarded fast fashion, it’s so huge it can be seen from space. I think as consumers we need to be more conscious of the fact that the textile industry is very damaging to the environment and shop sustainably and rewearing what we already own.
Things are still pretty gloomy over here in LA and cold by our standards – it is definitely not a great combination for getting into a summer mood. I hope things are looking better wherever you are!
