Happy New Year!! I am in total disbelief that its 2020, time is going so incredibly fast its making my head spin!! I hope you all had a lovely holiday I am just getting back to my regular routine today with my son back in school and husband back at work. I did not deliberately take a break from the blog, I was actually having technical difficulties with my host over the holidays and I couldn’t upload photos hence my extra long hiatus from posting. I do however have lots of content ready to go and will be getting it ALL up in the next few weeks!
I think we all tend to associate sequins with the holidays but I think they work well beyond Christmas and New Years Eve parties. I love the way this sequined camisole gives these wide leg khakis some glamour without looking over the top. I kept everything in this look the same color or tone with the exception of the shoes because I always need a pop of color, even if you can barely see it! These pants are such a great steal they will work in any season and make a short girl look extra tall when worn with the right heels, I have them linked below.
One of my favorite things about getting out of town is not hearing the news every day it’s such a great break from all the political madness and hearing about all the tragedy going on in the world. The fires in Australia are absolutely heartbreaking. I’m an animal lover and most of my charitable contributions go to animal funds so I’ll definitely be seeking out a fund to help rehabilitate the creatures that were able to survive the devastation, if you know of one please leave me a comment below!
Have a great week, so glad to be back with you all! xo ~Zia
