Wild Thing

 

I’ve said it before I’ll say it again, and again…if you hang onto something (of good quality) long enough it’ll come back in style. When I bought these Roman sandals many, many years ago there was nothing out there like them! I was pushing “serious” boundaries wearing them (& received a lot of ridicule from my friend Pat D) I wore them again for pragmatic reasons in college while performing in Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar, then I pulled them out again several summers back and now that Stuart Weitzman has released his version of the gladiator sandal I felt compelled to pull them out of the archives once more. They certainly aren’t practical but they are eye catching and of course ridiculous to some, but what good is fashion if it isn’t fun? Now get out there and have a fashionably risqué weekend! xx Zia
