When I was accepted into the prestigious American Academy of Dramatic Arts I foolishly believed it was a stepping stone to stardom. With my delusions of grandeur came the assumption that I could afford to buy all the (expensive) clothes I wanted because those credit cards would easily get paid off with the first blockbuster film that I would book immediately after graduation. Those delusions were reinforced when I did start booking several small parts in my first year after I earned my Degree in Fine Arts/Theatre however the paying off of my major shopping habit did not come easy. One of my favorite places to unload money was Fred Segal, an upscale department store in West Hollywood. This skirt was purchased there for an amount I don’t care to remember it no longer has a tag attached but I believe it was from a up coming local designer. Well, I’m not a movie star but my college debts have been paid off and I do have this amazing collection of clothes that have withstood time…absolutely no regrets! Happy Friday to you all, xx Zia

In addition to looking super cool, they stay on my face no matter which way I turn, certainly worth the price!
