I’ve clearly been finding fashion inspiration from trends I admired from my childhood (see this look). I don’t recall ever wearing acid wash jeans when I was a kid (I doubt my mom would have allowed it) and honestly I don’t think I actually liked it back then but it is speaking to me now in the form of these high waisted light acid wash pair from legendary 80’s denim brand Jordache. I love the feminine shape to these throwback jeans with the accentuated waist and pleats contrasted with the very rocker-esque wash. I kept the rock chic theme going with the lace cami, square toed ankle boots and teal band jacket with gold buttons which I have a weakness for.
I typically avoid wearing knock off styles because I feel it’s basically stealing an artists work. I certainly do not have it in my budget to buy every it bag that comes out every season and because this pouch bag obviously “inspired” by Bottega Veneta’s latest creation it doesn’t have a fake logo and its pretty basic so I went with it. Let me know your thoughts on knock-off fashion Im curious!
This week went so incredibly fast I’m still in disbelief that its Thursday. I feel like Im less productive and don’t manage my time as wisely as I did pre-covid and I don’t know how to get back to my organized self. I hope it all falls back into place when were normal again! Have a great weekend xo ~Zia
