In spite of the fact that me and my little one have been fighting a cold we had such a fabulous weekend (none of it included participating in any sporting event of any kind) It’s become an unplanned tradition to involve ourselves in some kind of gardening project on Super Bowl Sunday. Last year my husband built planter boxes for us to grow vegetables and this year we filled in our new succulent wall that was built outside our newly remodeled kitchen window. Saturday night my husband and I attended the Art Director’s Guild awards which was such a fun night honoring the unsung story tellers of film and TV. I envy my husband for the work he does: I think a lot of us have this vision of an artist being this broke, starving, tortured soul along the lines of Van Gogh or Pollock but he is one of those fortunate artists that gets to play and create with someone else’s money, lucky duck! Well, I have to pay for my own clothes but I love my ability to artistically express myself through them regardless, these pink culottes were exactly what I needed on the gloomy grey day I wore them! Thanks for stopping by,
