Denim with Silk Layers

 

I wonder if there is any scientific proof that the world spins just a little faster on its axis during the weekends?
I mentioned to my husband last night when we returned from our weekend away that not only did the weekend zoom by it didn’t actually feel like a long weekend. Nonetheless it was a really beautiful three days spent with family, friends and hundreds of other Fourth of July revelers at the Ojai Valley Inn. We went bike riding around town, watched the parade, hung out by the pool and strolled the sprawling grounds surrounding the hotel, but again it went by so fast!

The weather has again taken a turn and layers have become necessary especially in the evenings. In the summer I like to take a long button down and wear it like a jacket like with this split back shirt from Topshop previously worn here, I also stay well accessorized with my adorable babies (human & canine) who have been coming along on my blog shoots lately. Have a great Monday and let’s hope the week goes by as fast as last weekend!
