Black Cargo Pants, Lace Up Top.

I’m (still) really excited about the cargo pant trend and in addition to these black cargo pants, I have a few new pairs lined up to style for fall – the style is definitely reminiscent of my 90s era and I’m just happy to keep skinny jeans out of the equation for the time being. One of the things I sometimes forget (or decide its not needed) to add to an outfit and later regret in a big way is a belt. When I put this outfit together I felt it looked amazing and because of the lace up detail on the top it would be unnecessary to add a belt but now I wish I had popped on a black leather belt with some simple gold hardware. Often times I will reshoot a whole look because of a missed accessory which you don’t realize is needed until seeing the images. I loved the way these photos turned out so much that I decided not to reshoot but wanted to let you in on my little secret OCD tendencies.

I had a magical time at the Hollywood Bowl last night – it was a night of wine, amazing food, friends and Beethoven by the LA Philharmonic. I have a friend who has access to a very cool box for six at the bowl and it’s truly one of my favorite things to do in the summer: sitting under the stars listening to beautiful music and sipping a glass of crisp Rosé.
