Brown Polka Dot Top, White Culottes.

The polka dot trend was definitely a big one this summer and I know it will continue into fall – this brown polka dot top with the matching scarf paired with white denim culottes is definitely one of my favorite looks of the season. The skinny scarf was another big trend and I think it will also work its way into fall and holiday looks – its always been a look I love, Im into anything borrowed from the 70’s Boho & Disco era.

Because Im not a tall girl and these pants are cut right at the ankle, I chose a pair of barely there heels to elongate the leg. I will also wear these with some sneakers for a more casual look, but I know it won’t be nearly as flattering but sometimes comfort is more important!

And just like that we are at the unofficial end of summer. To be perfectly honest it was a pretty uneventful summer, so Im hoping for more action this fall – I do already have a few trips lined up for September and maybe that will be the focal point of the year – summer has such pressure to be the best season and sometimes its not!
