Ive always felt that with my body type (read: not particularly curvy) a knit dress wouldn’t work on me, but this dress definitely proved me wrong. The fabric is super soft and malleable so it doesn’t add bulkiness which to me is key with any knit. The puff sleeves add an element of curviness and the thigh high slit gives it that extra va va voom, so definitely not a frumpy knit dress by any means. The rich burgundy or merlot, if you prefer, shade fits well with my love for color. It works perfectly with these statement making boots which definitely turned some heads while walking through Beverly Hills where this look was shot.
I love when I have the perfect accessory to go with a look and in this case I had two! This resin necklace that Ive worn over and over again (see here & here) couldn’t match these boots more perfectly and this little JW PEI bag added that necessary third color without adding in a whole new color scheme. This is without a doubt a look I will be replicating several times over the next several months and so you can too I linked a few of my favorite knit dresses below.
We are fully in the swing of Halloween over here, my husband took it to a whole other level this year. I shared a few sneak peeks on Stories over the weekend but if you missed them, fear not I will be posting more here and on IG.
Happy Monday my loves, xoxo ~Zia
