Im finding it a little hard to accept that it is already November! I always feel the months between Labor Day and New Years fly by but this seems like it’s going extra fast. It’s still pretty warm here in Southern California so pieces like this cropped button down shirt are still acceptable “fall attire” – not that in my mind a cropped top shouldn’t be worn even in the coldest of months, as long as you have something to cover up your freezing belly like this oversized blazer. This blazer has been working overtime, I feel like I’ve been wearing it everywhere. It’s got that casual feel because its denim but it also has a polished feel. It’s linked below if you would like to buy it (super reasonably priced) it’s also available at Rent The Runway (click here to get 30% off your first month)
We had the most wildly busy Halloween night – our neighborhood goes pretty crazy every year but this year people were swarming the streets to see all the decorations starting on the weekend and it quadrupled last night: we ran out of candy (1300+ pieces) by 8:00 PM. I doubt it had anything to do with my appearance on the morning news to talk about halloween in our community (watch here) Hope you had a fun night too – see you back here Friday for some holiday style inspo!
