Butter Yellow Top, Silk Scarf Belt.

Butter yellow is without a doubt the color of Summer 2025 and I’m loving it! As you may have noticed I am in my neutral era but I think this subtle shade of sunshine works very well within my current color palette. I paired this snug off shoulder top with black skorts but also recently wore it with breezy white linen pants. I think as we transition into fall it will also look fabulous with shades of grey and brown, so a very versatile addition to any wardrobe.

Another major trend happening in the fashion world this summer is wearing a scarf as a belt. I think its such a chic way to make any outfit look unique. I happen to have a huge collection of silk scarves so I will definitely be making the most of this style movement, see how I styled one with a maxi dress here.

You might recall I posted about investing in a Fabric by Gerber UGMA account for your child a while back – its basically an investment account that an adult manages on behalf of a minor until they are of age to invest on their own. We did this for our son and now that he is 18 he can manage it on his own (if he chooses to) this has given him a leg up in life since we started investing several years ago.
