Black Mini, Beige Blazer.

This black mini skirt is actually a pair of skorts (shorts under the skirt) otherwise I would not be wearing a skirt this short! It’s more about comfort than modesty for me – I would forever be concerned about flashing unwitting strangers but with built in shorts underneath I can go about my business without fear. Later in the season I will pull on some tights and continue to wear them in cooler temperatures or even to dress them up a bit.

I realized how similar this look is to the last look I posted (see here) at least in tone and simplicity, although this is more of an everyday, running errands, casual business meeting look. I wore something almost identical to a haunted house last weekend – these boots have been my go-to footwear this season: they’re super comfortable and work well with all the shorter skirts and shorts I’ve been wearing lately.

Can’t believe we are more than halfway through October already and I havent come up with any Halloween costume ideas yet. I may just not dress up since its on a Tuesday this year but who knows I might rally last minute! Hope you all have a great weekend – Peace, Zia xoxo
