Classic Trench, Marigold Cords & Paris.

This look is all about me getting ready for my upcoming trip to one of my favorite cities in the world, can you guess?? ….Yes indeed it’s Paris! My husband is there on a business trip so were pulling the kid out of school and making it a family vacation! When I picked out this classic trench from MM LaFleur I knew it would be the perfect piece to accompany me to the City of Lights, the weather app is showing just a little bit of rain which I honestly do not mind. There is something romantic about the rain; it gives you an excuse to pop into a dark little cafe and order an Americano (the French cocktail not coffee) and people watch or just have a conversation with the person you’re with! You can also stroll huddled under an umbrella along the Seine and not even notice the drizzle because its Paris!!

I have a super busy week and havent started putting outfits together yet but I have pulled out my beret collection which I did not realize was so extensive! I literally have every color in the rainbow as well as leopard print. This beret has been in my collection a few years now but much like anything else leopard it will never go out of style.

The days are definitely getting shorter which is my least favorite by product of daylight savings ending but it forces me to get creative, write more and read more so its not a totally bad thing!
