Denim Vest, Dark Denim Midi Skirt.

I have long been a fan of the denim vest and couldn’t be happier that they have made a comeback recently. While tailored vests have been on trend for a while I was on board with the denim version an entire year ago when I paired one with wide leg jeans for a very 90s denim on denim look (see here) I love how elegant this ensemble is with the slingback heels, top handle bag and gold earrings. I don’t think I have ever put together such a ladylike double denim outfit. I will definitely be wearing this top with layers in the cooler months such as a sheer bodysuit, white button down shirt or a really light turtleneck top.

It’s the last day of summer! How did that happen? We didn’t have a typical summer here in LA, it’s been overcast a lot and temperatures well below average which I guess is a good thing – no major fires around here so far.
