Dotted Skirt & Top Three Ways.

My friends at cabi Clothing challenged me to mix and match this dotted skirt and top from their fall collection and create three outfits. My first look with the Sinatra top is paired with star print jeans and a bright yellow jacket and red boots for a pop of color. I’m obsessed with the stud belt from cabi and wear it with just about everything, along with the chunky gold chains, it gives this look a little edge. This chic yet casual look is perfect for a Sunday stroll or scooter ride with your beau.

I love the flow of the Sinatra skirt, it’s very feminine but the pinhole dots on a black background keep it from being overly girly. My second look with just the dotted skirt has a bit of grunge feel with the plaid camisole, combat boots and of course the studded belt. I have a denim jacket on hand to layer on for those chilly afternoons sipping coffee on a patio with a friend. A pouch bag and dark sunnies finish off this edgy look.

My last look is with both the Sinatra top and skirt. Wearing the two pieces together gives the appearance of a one piece maxi dress and with the wide buckled belt it’s quite seamless. This look is perfect for the office with a blazer or cardi and I would definitely wear this out for dinner with a leather jacket on top.

I tend to street clear of buying dresses due to their one wear lifespan, I love versatile pieces that can be worn in multiple ways so your outfits always look fresh. Having matching pieces weather its a suit or a top and skirt gives you so many options.
