JCK Premier Jewelry and Gem Convention in Las Vegas

I recently had the privilege of being invited to fly to Las Vegas to attend JCK, the worlds premier jewelry and gem convention! Its a week long event that is attended by jewelry designers, retailers and suppliers from all over the world.  I joined my pal Aubrey from @thedandyliar to browse, explore and try on jewelry from over 2000 designers over the course of four days.  It was exhausting but also exhilarating, I mean who doesn’t want to be surrounded by gorgeous jewelry all day?? Here we are at Kirk Kara Jewelry with countless carats of diamonds on every finger we could fit one on.

Rosa Van Parys is a designer I fell in love with at JCK Tucson in February, her classic meets edgy design aesthetic fits my own perfectly. I was so excited to see her new collection and try on some the pieces, this gold choker was one of my favorites along with the jewel encrusted panther beauty in the first photo.

 

Freida Rothman was generous enough to gift Aubrey, @tanyafosterblog and myself a gorgeous gold and stone bangle which we loved so much we all slipped it on immediately! I think this experience and our bangles will bond us indefinitely.

 

Amlé was definitely my favorite discovery at JCK Las Vegas. I instantaneously fell in love with the fun, whimsical pieces from this Italian designed line.  I think I tried on every piece they had and couldn’t get enough of the enormous tambourine earrings (see below) and necklaces with hand painted images such as cherries, floral arrangements and creatures of the sea. You can rest assured you will be seeing a lot more of this line in future posts.  Here I am with the extremely charming Artistic Director of Amlé, Marco Ferra.

Colorful, sparkly, gorgeous  cuffs from Les Georgettes. I was so excited to finally meet the team from this design company in person. I have been working with them since last fall and absolutely love their interchangeable earrings and cuffs. I’m also very, very excited about their new handbag collection which I was able to view and try on at the show.

 

Alexi Bittar had THE best display at the event with this shiny gold vintage VW bus which served as their booth.  Alexis did not disappoint with her gorgeous earrings, bangles and bold necklaces. Im a long time fan and was so excited to see the whole collection!

If you are a jewelry lover, designer or seller I urge you to take part in any JCK event you can. It’s an amazing visual and learning experience, you will probably fall in love with some gorgeous baubles and most importantly you will definitely meet some amazing, creative people from all over the world!
