Girl’s Getaway With Lexus.

Two weeks ago, just a few days before we were told to shelter in place, I took a little trip with some fabulous girls and a gorgeous car.  Lexus invited a group of local bloggers to the Terranea Resort in the south bay area of Los Angeles for a wellness retreat which in retrospect was so fortunate for beyond the usual reasons.

I was given a 2020 Lexus RX Hybrid to drive and I’m absolutely hooked! I’ve been ruminating over a new car purchase this year and a Lexus SUV was at the top of my list. Having one to test drive for a week made the decision much easier. With so many safety features such as an automatic braking system & backup camera as well as so many comfort features its a no brainer for a mom who likes a little luxury.

If you’re not yet familiar with Terranea it’s a beautiful seaside resort in Palos Verdes, California which is about an hour away from downtown LA. It sits on a cliff overlooking the Pacific and has the most magnificent views. Last time I was there with my husband it was during whale migration season so whale watching was a daily activity. Terranea has the perfect combination of opulence and outdoor activity, there are three pools, amazing restaurants and one of the best spas! The massage I was treated to was phenomenal and I especially enjoyed the himalayan salt sauna it was a welcome blast of heat since the weather was not ideal. If you happen to already be a Lexus driver and plan to visit Terranea be sure to inquire about the specials they have as the resort is a Lexus partner and provide little perks.

Spending this time with my blogger pals and my wellness weekend date Carolina was so good for the soul, we all had the best time eating, drinking, relaxing and talking, talking and more talking… this was a group of strong, opinionated and very kind women and none of us were shy about tasting every little bit of food that came our way. I think we all came away rejuvenated but not necessarily ready for what lay ahead. I love having the memories of this lovely getaway while I hunker down at home with my family and wait for us all to be safe again!
