Gold Ruffled Top, Shorts Suit.

Shorts are undeniably one of my favorite clothing items. In my opinion they are way sexier than pants  and the tomboy in me will take shorts over a skirt in a heartbeat. Although this blazer and shorts are not an exact match it does the trick to create a shorts-suit which is a perfect option for spring when layers are still essential. This slightly off white blazer is such a closet staple for me, its the perfect layer for almost any look. Ive worn it with so many outfits (see here & here) and its on major sale right now.

I hope you saw my post on the Shopbop sale last week and had a chance to grab some spring must haves. I pounced on this adorable gold ruffled tank from Ulla Johnson (one of my recent fave designers) the second I saw it. I love the idea of wearing this tank with some denim; shorts or maybe a cropped pair of jeans or even with a billowy white midi skirt for a more romantic vibe. It’s such a versatile piece and the color will let you take it into fall with a darker denim and chunky cardigan.

I hope you all rested up this weekend and are ready to take on the week ahead! I got a lot of much needed sleep in so Im super excited to get this week started.  I have a busier than usual schedule coming up which feels so good after a year of whole lot of nothing!
