Green & Blue Stripe Set.

The colors in this (mostly) green & blue stripe short set from cabi Clothing make me unbelievably happy, so you can imagine how thrilled I was to find this matching green sandwich shop in my neighborhood to shoot in front of. I love that this set can be equally sporty and casual or chic and dressy depending on how you accessorize. I typically opt for the dressed up version here on the blog but I know Ill be kicking on a pair of sneakers and leaving the top loose or maybe tucked in for some running around. With the wedge sandals and summery clutch this look is definitely worthy of a dinner out. This outfit unfortunately is no longer available as cabi has moved into their new fall collection and there are so many beautiful pieces I cant wait to get my hands on once the cooler weather kicks in. That being said we’re experiencing a major long lasting heat wave here in LA making it difficult to wear very much of anything right now but I still like to start loading up on a few fall pieces in advance.

Today was the first day of school for most LA based students today, including my son- it is always so bittersweet when they go back; its unofficially the end of summer but its the beginning of something new!
